We have started the camping season many times in the past and done the typical loading of stuff we think we need for the first weekend out but never worried too much about if we had everything. Now this year we are coming out of winter storage and going on the road for 5 to 6 weeks and a couple of thousand miles from home so the loading took a bit more preparation and time, I think we have enough "stuff" to last the first year at least and you know we are going to be near a Wall-mart every day so if we missed something we can buy it. Just have to make sure I have Elaine and Lilly on board in the morning and we are set to roll.
Destination for tomorrow is a first stop in Bangor to get the communications gear cell phone and a Verizon internet stick for the laptop and a few groceries. After that stop hopefully not more than 2 hours it is further south on I95 to Lewis ton ME for the night. Google maps tells us its 401 miles from home so its going to be a long day but we do want to get as far south as possible the first day. Second night (Saturday) the tentative plan is to make Stroudsburg PA almost another 400 miles.
The weather is looking good except for a bit of morning fog and warming up real nice on Saturday so hopefully its going to be a great trip. Will post Friday night if we have Internet connection. Maybe even a picture for a change.
WOOHOOOO DRIVE SAFE!!! :D
