Still in NC

We are still in NC in the Charlotte area and are very busy enjoying ourselves. Attending happy hours and travelling around. Rick and Cathy have been busy the last few days. Rick installed new lights in their master bedroom, over their bar in the family room, and low voltage around their property. He and Brent installed a new flush in their guest bathroom the other night and  I keep the furkids happy and walked , make lunch for the hard workers  while Brent goes to work, during the week.  Brent installed a new flush in the downstairs bathroom off the family room today while Cathy and Rick finished the outside light installations..I have been taking a few minutes here and there to peek at your blogs...between making lunches and walking the dogs. What a busy life we have. Tuesday we head up to Myrtle Beach for 12 days of beach before heading on the road to home. Its been a great winter, but I am looking forward to getting home and seeing all our kids. Stay safe out there y'all...will upload pics tomorrow when I get a minute.
take care and remember

  2. Elaine you mentioned on my blog about checking your dog's blood sugar on its ear. Did the dog object? My vet says the dogs really don't like that but I would feel a lot more confident if I could get a more accurate reading on Poppy. Was you diabetic dog a spaniel? I am wondering if it was easier with the long ears. Thanks for any info you can share. Feel free to email me if you have time. (address is on my blog) Wishing you safe travels on your journey home.
