We are Home !

We landed back in Moncton last evening at 11:30pm. Rick is doing very well and we are both definitely happy to be home.

Its been a long week..but now that is behind us...its onto healing and planning. My biggest problem will be keeping him 'down' during the healing time~I fear I will have to become a nag..don't do this, don't do that , don't be lifting etc etc..I think I can handle the job.

I hope to catch up on all the blog of the past week within the next few days..take care everyone

  1. Hope the snow they got to the south of you has missed you.
I think Rick will discover pretty quickly that there's not too much he can lift in the first little while. I know I couldn't, and not long after I came home from hospital, the pump on our boiler decided to pack it in! That was interesting. I knew what to do (had a spare pump), but I had to get my nephew to do the lifting. As soon as you feel that first "pull" on your side, you know right away what to avoid.
    He'll need a couple weeks.
    Enjoy your time at home.

  4. Good to know you are back home and I guess you just got in before the storm started. We have moved into the MH and are warm and cozy here. But the storm has almost destroyed the awning on our bedroom slide. So I have to call an upholstery shop in Machias and see whether he can sew us a new awning tomorrow.

  11. Thanks for leaving a comment on our Blog. We enjoy your reading yours and have followed for a while now. Glad Rick is doing well and was able to have the surgery early so you can head south. I have a lot of family in NB, they live in St John, Fredericton and Campbellton.
