Its been a long week..but now that is behind us...its onto healing and planning. My biggest problem will be keeping him 'down' during the healing time~I fear I will have to become a nag..don't do this, don't do that , don't be lifting etc etc..I think I can handle the job.
I hope to catch up on all the blog of the past week within the next few days..take care everyone
home is where you park it
"May your day be filled with blessings like the sun that lights the sky~and may you always have the courage to spread your wings and fly"
Hope the snow they got to the south of you has missed you.
ReplyDeleteI think Rick will discover pretty quickly that there's not too much he can lift in the first little while. I know I couldn't, and not long after I came home from hospital, the pump on our boiler decided to pack it in! That was interesting. I knew what to do (had a spare pump), but I had to get my nephew to do the lifting. As soon as you feel that first "pull" on your side, you know right away what to avoid.
He'll need a couple weeks.
Enjoy your time at home.
glad you both made it back home safe and sound!..now on with the recovery!!
ReplyDeleteany white stuff to shovel?
That's what I'm telling John lately - Home is Where you Park It!
ReplyDeleteGood to know you are back home and I guess you just got in before the storm started. We have moved into the MH and are warm and cozy here. But the storm has almost destroyed the awning on our bedroom slide. So I have to call an upholstery shop in Machias and see whether he can sew us a new awning tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home. Hope Rick takes it easy and lets everything heal up good.
ReplyDeleteLove that quote at the end today.
Sounds great, that project behind you then nag, nag until everything is healed then away ya go!
ReplyDeleteGreat news Rick! Rest well, for a solid recovery, and you two will be headed south before you know it.
ReplyDeleteRick should take this opportunity to sit back, be waited on hand and foot, and relax:)

ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving a comment on our Blog. We enjoy your reading yours and have followed for a while now. Glad Rick is doing well and was able to have the surgery early so you can head south. I have a lot of family in NB, they live in St John, Fredericton and Campbellton.
